Banik, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. KK Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Imran Ali, seeking bail in connection with Rangia Police Station Case No. 143/2026, registered under Sections 61(2)/196(1)(a)/118(2)/109(1)/308(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. The contents of the FIR reveal that a fight had ensued upon a request being made by the informant to remove certain photographs of deities from the Dhaba of one of the accused. The allegations are that in the ensuing fight, the informant was harmed, and some material of value had possibly been taken away from him. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that one of the accused has been granted bail by this Court on 25.08.2026, in AB No. 1532/2026. The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor has submitted that the Case Diary has been received. He has assisted the Court in pursuing the same and, in my considered opinion, the custodial interrogation of the petitioners involved in this Bail petition is not required at this moment. Page No.# 3/3 Accordingly, the interim protection granted to the petitioner vide order dated 15.07.2026 is hereby made absolute. The bail granted shall be subject to the condition that the petitioner shall continue to participate in the investigation process as and when required to do so.
