Plaintiff   No.2,   through   Video Conferencing with Mr. Ashok Sood, Senior   Advocate   assisted   by   Mr. Rajat Rana, Advocate. For the defendant  : Defendant in person with Mr. Nitin Thakur, Advocate. Virender Singh, Judge (oral) Parties   to   the   present   suit   have   moved   OMP No.392 of 2026, stating therein that during the pendency of the present suit, they have compromised the matter. Apart   from   giving   details   of   the   settlement,   which   has taken   place,   between   the   parties,   they   have   also   relied upon the report of the Local Commissioner, in pursuance 1 Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? Yes. 2 2026:HHC:24716 of the settlement between the parties.  On the basis of said settlement, which has been given effect to, on the spot, a prayer has been made to accept the compromise and to pass a compromise decree. 2. Parties to the lis, i.e., plaintiffs, as well as, defendant, have made joint statement, on oath, disclosing therein that the matter has now been settled between them and according to them, the settlement/report of Tehsildar Shimla is Ex.P­A, consisting of page Nos.1 to 28, verified signatures of deponent Vijay Prakash Negi, are Ex.PB (2 pages) and report dated 10.11.2025, is Ex.PC (4 pages) and it has been prayed that the compromise decree be passed in their favour.   Both the plaintiffs and defendant have identified their signatures. 3. In   view   of   the   joint   statement   recorded today, the application  bearing OMP No. 392 of 2026 is allowed.   Accordingly, the present suit is decreed, on the basis of the compromise, so effected between the parties. The parties to the lis be shall bound by the joint statement, which has been recorded today, in the Court. 3 2026:HHC:24716 4. Decree   sheet   be   prepared   accordingly.
