This is an application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 whereby the petitioner, Suraj Gurung has prayed for releasing him Page No.# 2/2 on bail after he was arrested in connection with Orang Police Station Case No.19/2026 under Section 20(b)(ii)C/25/29 of NDPS Act. Case diary called for has been received by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the same has been perused. From the perusal of the case diary, it appears that the contraband recovered is of commercial quantity. Therefore, I am not inclined to grant bail at this stage.
