2. Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are working on the post of Cashier and Accountant at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Memorial Hospital Raipur Chhattisgarh. Petitioners have already completed more than 8 years of service on the present post. According to the Chhattisgarh Medical Education Department Class-III Non- Gazetted (Ministerial and Non-Ministerial) Service Recruitment Rules, 2011, the respondent department has to constitute Departmental Promotion Committee for considering the eligible candidates for promotion on the vacant post. He contended that according to the said rules the committee has to meet in regular intervals not exceeding one year. The meeting of the DPC has not been held since last many years. Petitioner has already submitted representation on 28.02.2025, which is still pending.
He submits that in the facts of the case and subsequent development which has taken place after submission of the representation dated 28.02.2025, petitioner may be permitted to submit a fresh representation before respondent No. 4 and the concerned respondent be directed to take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner, at the earliest, within specified time frame. 3. Counsel for the State submits that he is having no objection to the limited prayer made by counsel for the petitioners. 4. On due consideration of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, writ petition at this stage is disposed of, permitting
3 / 3 petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents before respondent No. 3 and 4 and in the event, petitioner submits such a representation, respondent No. 3 and 4 shall consider and take decision on the same, in accordance with law, keeping in mind the provisions of Rules, 2011, expeditiously preferably within a further period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the representation. 5.
