This application has been preferred by the petitioner for modification of the order dated 23.12.2025 passed in Criminal Appeal (D.B.) No.1549 of 2025. The modification which has been sought for is with respect to the extension in the period of surrender, since, it has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of some medical emergency, he could not surrender within the time specified by this Court in the order dated 23.12.2025. 3. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in the instant application, the same is allowed and the order dated 23.12.2025 passed in Criminal Appeal (D.B.) No. 1549 of 2025 is modified by extending the period of surrender of the petitioner for a further period of two weeks from today. 4.
