Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 02.07.2025 in connection with S.T. Case No. 139 of 2026 arising out of Baliapur P.S. Case No. 114 of 2021, for the alleged offence registered under Sections 304-B/34 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-III, Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the victim was found dead in matrimonial home within three months of marriage, but the reason for death was that she was being neglected by her parents as she had performed love marriage. He submits that the petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that there is direct allegation of demand of dowry in the First Information Report. 2026:JHHC:15206 2 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the victim died in her matrimonial home within three months of marriage and there is direct allegation of demand of dowry, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 6.
