Counsel for the Respondents : Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, Advocate. Hon’ble Alok Kumar Verma,J. This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 27.08.2025, passed in Writ Petition No. 571 of 2024 (S/S), “Anil Kumar Rasauni Vs. State of Uttarakhand and Others”. By the said order, following directions were issued:- “9. Having regard to the facts of the case, the writ petition is disposed of by directing Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department to examine petitioner’s claim for regularisation, from the date his juniors were regularised. For this purpose, Chief Engineer shall constitute a Regularisation Committee under the Regularisation Rules in vogue. This Court hopes and expects that the entire exercise shall be completed within six weeks from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.” 2. Heard Mr. Amar Murti Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Jagdish Singh Bisht, learned counsel for the respondents. 1 2026:UHC:843 3. Mr. Amar Murti Shukla, Advocate, submitted on instructions that the said order dated 27.08.2025 has been complied with. Therefore, the petitioner does not want to pursue the present contempt petition further. 4. For the foregoing reasons, this Contempt Petition does not require any further consideration.
