By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “a) A writ of certiorari quashing the arbitrary, faulty, and unconstitutional eligibility clarification issued by Respondent No. 2 (noticed publicly on 04.06.2026) to the extent that it retroactively disqualifies B.Sc. candidates by enforcing an impossible 3-year English study standard upon graduation and professional B.Ed. courses. b) A writ of certiorari quashing the final merit selection list dated 06.06.2026 issued by Respondent No. 3. c) A writ of mandamus directing the respondents to recognize the petitioner's 56% marks in graduation English and his verified B.Ed. "Teaching of English" 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 credentials as completely satisfying the eligibility criteria, and consequently process his formal appointment based on his written test merit score of 83 marks. d) A writ of mandamus directing the respondents to treat the petitioner as eligible for the post of English Teacher and grant him appointment, if otherwise found meritious.” 3. As this issue is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.8498 of 2026, titled Renu Chandel Versus State of H.P. & others, alongwith connected matters, decided on 17.06.2026, this petition is disposed of with the observation that the order passed therein shall be construed to be passed in this petition also. 4.
