1. Mr. Yasir Rauf Ansari, learned ASC for the State submits the convict or his family member has not filed any application seeking parole.
2. Mr. Sarthak Maggon, learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that once this objection was raised, the convict has already sent the application.
3. Be that as it may, the petition itself can be treated to be the application seeking parole in view of the fact that the same is supported by the affidavit of the convict’s mother.
4. In view of the aforesaid, therefore, let the competent authority to consider the petitioner’s application/ petition seeking parole with due expedition without any undue delay.
