Petitioners have filed this writ petition with following prayers:- [2026:RJ-JP:31484] (3 of 4) [CW-15098/2026] "It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that your lordship may graciously be pleased to accept and allow the writ petition and by an appropriate writ of mandamus, order or direction in nature thereof: i) The respondent no. 2 to 4 may kindly be directed to remove illegal encroachment by demolishing any construction raised by the respondent no. 5 to 10 and others in the land bearing khasra no. 12736/4368, 12737/4368, 12739/4369, 4323, 4341, 4344, 4356, 4321 and 4322 situated at Revenue Village Khirni, Tehsil Malarna Doongar, District Sawai Madhopur. ii) Any other order which this Hon'ble Court may deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case also be passed in favour of humble petitioners along with cost of writ petition." 2. It is stated by learned counsel for the petitioners that in compliance of judgment dated 30.01.2019 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in the case of Jagdish Prasad Meena & Ors. Vs. State of Rajasthan & Ors. (D.B. Civil Writ Petition (PIL) No.10819/2018), Public Land Protection Cell (PLPC) has been constituted by the respondent-Government for considering the grievances with regard to encroachment upon public land. In the instant case, the petitioners have submitted so many representations to the District Collector, Sawai Madhopur, who is also member of PLPC, yet no decision whatsoever has been taken by the District Collector. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, in case, directions are given to the District Collector, Sawai Madhopur to decide the representation submitted by the petitioners by speaking order. 4. In view of the limited prayer extended by learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court deems it just and proper to dispose of this writ petition with directions to District Collector, Sawai Madhopur to consider and decide representation, if any, submitted by the petitioners for removal of encroachment upon [2026:RJ-JP:31484] (4 of 4) [CW-15098/2026] any public land and decision thereupon shall be taken within a period of 60 days, after giving due opportunity of hearing to all the concerned persons including the alleged encroachers and the decision thereupon shall also be communicated to the petitioners. 5. The writ petition filed by the petitioners stands disposed of accordingly. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case. 7.
