No. 680 of 2026 ORDER This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to issue a non traceable certificate in respect of the missing document. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, a Public Sector Bank, lodged a complaint on 10.10.2025 regarding certain missing documents and sought for issuance of a non traceable certificate so that a certified copy of the document may be obtained and treated as a primary document. Since the said complaint has not been considered, the present petition has been filed. 3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the petitioner's complaint, CSR.No.370 of 2026 has been assigned. Further, the Director General of Police, Head of Police Force, Chennai in R.C.No.2029209/General.1(1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 has issued guidelines while issuing non-treaceable certificate in respect of missing documents, and the same will be followed. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the complainant is ready to appear before the second respondent on 09.04.2026 and follow the guidelines. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Crl. No. 680 of 2026 5. In view of the above submissions, the petitioner is directed appear before the second respondent on 09.04.2026 along with supporting documents. Upon such appearance, enquiry shall be conducted and in accordance with the guidelines of Director General of Police, the necessary non-traceable certificate shall be issued to the petitioner.
