By way of this petition, the petitioner has, inter alia, prayed for the following reliefs:- “i. Quashing and setting aside the impugned retroactive clarification/ criteria implemented mid-selection by the respondents. ii. Directing the respondents to consider the candidature candidature of the petitioner under the EWS category based on her original eligibility and high merit position (78 marks). iii. Directing the respondents to provisionally or permanently include the petitioner’s name in the final selection list for the post of English Teacher (Post Code 26002) with all consequential benefits. 1 Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 iv. Directing the respondents to treat the petitioner as eligible for the post of English Teacher and grant her appointment, if otherwise found meritious.” 3. As this issue is squarely covered by the judgment passed by this Court in CWP No.8498 of 2026, titled Renu Chandel Versus State of H.P. & others, alongwith connected matters, decided on 17.06.2026, this petition is disposed of with the observation that the order passed therein shall be construed to be passed in this petition also. 4.
