By this petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Akash Das, praying for grant of bail in connection Page No.# 2/3 with Chandmari P.S. Case No. 90/2026 u/s 304 of BNS, 2023. 3. The petitioner was arrested on 15.07.2026. 4. The case arose out of an FIR dated 20.06.2026 with the allegation that the informant's mobile phone was stolen near Silpukhuri playground, Guwahati and that a Scooty bearing registration No. AS-01-EV-4835 was involved. 5. Case diary has been received. 6. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor fairly submits that the main accused are one Gokul Das and Momin Ali and the present petitioner is the relative of Gokul Das and the materials are largely against these two accused persons rather than the present petitioner. 7. In the given facts and circumstances, the accused-petitioner, named above, shall be released on bail in connection with Chandmari P.S. Case No. 90/2026 u/s 304 of BNS, 2023, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/-with one suitable surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Kamrup(M). 8. The direction for bail is further subject to the conditions: (a) That the petitioner shall co-operate with the remaining investigation; and (b) That the petitioner shall not hamper or tamper with evidence. 9. Violation or breach of any condition(s) shall entail cancellation of bail. 10. With the above observations, this bail petition stands allowed and disposed of accordingly. Page No.# 3/3 11.
