JUSTICE R.K. PATTANAIK Order No. ORDER 25.03.2026 01. 1. Heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 2. Instant petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for pre-arrest bail of the petitioner in connection with Lathore P.S. Case No.66 of 2023 corresponding to G.R. Case No.390 of 2023 pending in the file of learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh on the grounds stated therein. 3. Perused the FIR as at Annexure-1. Mr. Mohapatra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the accused persons are on bail. A copy of the order in CRLMC No.2704 of 2024 dated 14th August, 2024 in respect of the other accused, namely, Padmanabha Padhan is produced and submits that he has been allowed to go on bail with conditions. 4. Recorded the objection of the State. It is informed to the Court that the petitioner is having antecedents. The case diary is produced along with the antecedent report against the petitioner and it appears that the antecedents are not similar in p. 2 nature. Since other accused persons are on bail, this Court is inclined to extend parity to the petitioner directing him to go on bail on similar conditions. 5. Accordingly, it is ordered. 6. In the result, the ABLAPL is disposed of. It is directed that in the event, the petitioner surrenders within a fortnight from today before the learned S.D.J.M., Patnagarh in connection with Lathore P.S.
