1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition praying for the following reliefs:
“10.1 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 and 2 to decide and dispose of the petitioner’s
representations
dated 15.07.2022 (Annexure P/5 Colly) within a time-bound period as fixed by this Hon’ble Court and to communicate the decision of the petitioner. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may further be pleased to direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service with all consequential benefits including continuity of service, back wages, promotion, seniority and other service benefits, if the respondents decide to accept the representations of the petitioner. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief/s which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice.”

At the outset, counsel for the petitioner submits that against the adverse order passed against him, the petitioner has submitted an appeal in the form of representation before the respondent no. 2 on 15.07.2022 which till date is pending consideration and therefore at this stage he is only seeking a direction to respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation/appeal submitted by him at the earliest within a specified time. 3. Counsel for the respondent submits that in view of the limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner, he is having no objection. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 5.
On due consideration of submission of counsel for the respective parties this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and take decision on the representation/appeal in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a further period of 2 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
