Mr. Saurav Rattan, Advocate, for the non- applicants/respondents. By way of instant application, prayer has been made by the applicants/ respondents, for extension/ modification of order dated 18.3.2026 passed by this Court in Criminal Revision No. 522 of 2025, whereby direction came to be issued to the learned court below to conclude the execution proceedings expeditiously, preferably within six weeks and domestic violence complaint within three weeks. It is averred in the application that in terms of aforesaid order passed by this Court, trial court has been granting very short dates, as a result of which, complainant has been not able to produce the evidence on the last date before the court below. Since on 19.6.2026, when the matter was kept for evidence by the court below, evidence proposed to be adduced on record by the complainant was not available on account of marriage in his family, prayer has been made for adjournment, however such prayer of the complainant was not accepted for the reason that court is under obligation to decide the complainant expeditiously in terms of order dated 18.3.2026. Though this Court finds that order dated 18.3.2026, was passed in the presence of the learned counsel for the complainant, but yet taking note of the explanation rendered in the application, this court deems it fit to modify order dated 18.3.2026, passed in Cr.R. No 522 of 2025 to the extent that court below would decide the complainant in terms of afore order on or before 31.7.2026. Ordered accoridngly. On next date of hearing i.e. 24.6.2026, court below may grant one short date of 3-4 days to the complainant to adduce evidence, but thereafter no opportunity shall be granted and in all eventualities, case shall be decided on or before 31.7.2026.
