Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs. “10.1 That call for the entire records pertaining to the promotion process and the impugned promo- tion order dated 26.12.2025 for kind perusal of the Hon’ble Court. 10.2 That kindly do issue a nature of appropriate writ, and directing the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Lecturer (LB) E Cadre and to place her at appropriate position in the promotion order dated 26.12.2025 for the subjects (History/Hindi/ English/Political Science) in accordance with law and relevant circulars/guidelines in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.3 That may kindly issue writ/ or nature of ap- propriate to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner strictly in accor- dance with the seniority/ gradation list issued as on 25.09.2025 and to consider her promotion to the post of Lecturer (LB) E Cadre on the subjects History/Hindi/English/Political Science above the private respondent Nos. 6 to 9 in the facts and cir- cumstances of the case. 3 / 4 10.4 That may kindly pass any other orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.” 2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner is holding the post of Teacher and she was eligible and entitled for consideration of her name for promotion to the post of Lecturer (History/Hindi/English /Political Science). Juniors to the petitioner in the gradation list have been considered for their promotion and the promotion order has also been issued in their favour. Petitioner was though considered for promotion, however, promotion order has not been issued in her favour. Petitioner aggrieved with the inaction on the part of respondents has already submitted representation before Respondent Nos. 4 & 5, however, till date, decision has not been taken on the representation. 3. Learned State counsel submits that grievance of petitioner is that petitioner though otherwise eligible for promotion, however, she was not promoted and the juniors to the petitioner have been promoted and that petitioner has already submitted representation before the competent authority. Representation submitted by petitioner will be considered by the competent authority in accordance with law. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 5. Grievance of petitioner is that petitioner though otherwise is eligible for her promotion on the post of Lecturer (History/Hindi/English /Political Science) but she has been superseded by her juniors, without assigning any reason. Petitioner has already approached the competent authority for redressal of her grievance by filing representation. 4 / 4 6. On due consideration of the submission of learned counsel for the respective parties, nature of grievance raised in this writ petition, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of with a direction to Respondents No. 4 & 5 to consider and take decision on the representation of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of order passed by this Court. 7.
