The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody since 12.07.2025 in connection with Birsanagar (Jamshedpur) P.S. Case No. 52 of 2025 (Special POCSO Case No.56 of 2025) for the offence registered under Sections 96 of BNS, 2023 has moved for regular bail. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that there is no allegation of sexual assault against the petitioner and there is no material to show that there was any inducement on his part in kidnapping the victim-girl and he is in custody for more than six months. It is further submitted that during trial, victim was examined as PW.1, but she has not supported the case of prosecution and was declared hostile. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
