The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No.449 of 2024, dated 30.11.2024, registered for the offence under Sections 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 25(1-B)a, 25(6), 26 and 35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi. 3. Learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a Security Guard in the SIS Security Guard Company. He further submits that the arms have been provided to the petitioner by the said company. He then submits that the allegations are made that the arms have been kept by the petitioner on the forged license. He next submits that the petitioner is an employee and he has got no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 18 of this application. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that on the forged license, the said arms have been kept by the petitioner. ( 2026:JHHC:13587 ) -2- A.B.A. No. 7249 of 2025 5. Considering that the petitioner is a Security Guard and he is an employee of SIS Security Guard Company and it has been pointed out that the said arms have been provided to the petitioner by the said company, however, allegations are made that the license of the same was forged and further, the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and in the attending facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the above-named petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of his arrest or surrender, he shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Ranchi in connection with Namkum P.S.
