This petition, purportedly in public interest, has been filed by the petitioner seeking to question the validity of order dated 18 July 2025 passed by Commissioner, Vindhyachal Division, Vindhyachal under Section 27(4) of the U.P. Imposition of Ceiling on Land Holdings Act, 1960 ('the Act'). 2. Apparently, first Writ-C No. 29912 of 2025 was filed by Jitendar and another, questioning the validity of the said order. When the objection pertaining to the locus standi was raised, the said petition was withdrawn with liberty to file fresh. 3. After passage of one year, now the petitioner has chosen to file the present petition, purportedly in public interest. 4. The authority has passed the order dated 18 July 2025 exercising the powers vested in terms of the provisions of the Act. The challenge laid to exercise of powers under a particular Statute by way of PIL, cannot be countenanced on the grounds sought to be raised in the present petition. 5. We do not find any reason to entertain the present petition, the same is accordingly, dismissed.
