The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Chas P.S. Case No.12 of 2026, for the alleged offences registered under Sections 115(2), 117(2), 126(2), 109, 121(2), 324(2), 324(3), 324(6), 74, 221, 132, 224 and 174 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 131(1)(b) and 131(2) of Representation of People Act, 1950 pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was candidate for the post of Counselor in Chas Municipal Corporation Election. He further submits that allegations are made that after getting information about rigging at the polling station in question she has gone to verify the same but the concerned police officers, who were on duty, restrained her from entering inside the polling booth and thereafter ruckus started. He then submits that apart from that there is no allegation and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as 2026:JHHC:14989 --2-- A.B.A. No. 2574 of 2026 disclosed in paragraph No.11 of the petition. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that allegations are there of entering into altercation with the police officials and they have restrained her to enter into the polling booth. 5. Considering that the petitioner was a candidate for the post of Counselor in Chas Municipal Corporation Elections and altercation took place when the petitioner tried to enter into the polling station with regard to the information of rigging the polls and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph No.11 of the petition, I am inclined to provide anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today, and in the event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro in connection with Chas P.S. Case No.12 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. (Sanjay Kumar Dwivedi, J.) Dated 14.05.2026 Sangam/
