Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that the application filed by the petitioner under Section 212 of the Rajasthan Tenancy Act, 1955 (hereinafter to be referred as "The Act of 1955") before Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), Sikar, is pending since the year 2021 and thus, he seeks a
[2026:RJ-JP:13243] (3 of 3) [CW-1130/2026] limited direction to the concerned SDO, Sikar to decide the same expeditiously in accordance with law.
2. Considering the limited submission so made and without delving into the merits of the matter, the petitioner is granted liberty to file an appropriate application before the SDO, Sikar for seeking expeditious disposal of the application filed by him under Section 212 of the Act of 1955, along with the certified copy of this order.
3. In the event of any such application being filed by the petitioner, the SDO, Sikar is directed to decide the application filed by the petitioner under Section 212 of the Act of 1955 within a period of two weeks thereafter, after granting opportunity of hearing to both the parties.
4. With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition stands
disposed of.
5. Pending application(s), if any, stands disposed of.
6. Needless to say, this order has been passed only to decide the petitioner’s application(s) and in no manner is to be construed as a direction to decide the said application(s) in a particular manner.
