The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Mahagama PS Case No.27 of 2026, for offence registered under section 61(2), 316(2), 318(4) of BNS, 2023, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Godda.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the allegations are made of taking amount of Rs.2,84,000/- by the husband of this petitioner on the pretext of providing gas agency and licence for liquor shop. He next submits that so far as this petitioner is concerned, she is wife of the main accused against whom the said allegation is made. He next submits that anticipatory bail of Ranjit Kumar who happened to be husband of the this petitioner has already been withdrawn by the petitioner earlier.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be wife of Ranjit Kumar.

Considering that the petitioner happened to be wife of Ranjit Kumar and allegations are there of taking amount of Rs.2,84,000/- by the husband of this petitioner on the pretext of providing gas agency and licence for liquor shop and this petitioner happened to be wife and that allegation of taking money is not there against the petitioner, and in the attending facts and circumstances of the present case, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, the petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Godda, in connection with Mahagama PS Case No.27 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
