Also heard Mr. Bhaskar Sarma, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023, whereby the petitioner Narujul Islam @ Najrul Islam has prayed for pre-arrest bail in connection with G R Case No.207/2026 arising out of Mikirbheta P.S. Case No.28/2026 registered under Section 329 & 34 of BNS, 2023. 3. It may be stated that on 25.05.2026 in AB No.934/2026 the petitioner’s pre-arrest bail application was rejected. Now the charge sheet has been filed. The petitioner has been Page No.# 2/2 shown as an absconder in the charge sheet. The trial court has already taken cognizance of the offence against the present petitioner. 4. Mr. Sarma has submitted that the petitioner should be ask to approach the trial court for seeking regular bail. 5. I have considered the submissions of the learned counsel of both sides. 6. The petitioner is directed to approach the trial court for seeking regular bail and the trial court shall consider his bail application in accordance with the procedures as laid down by law.
