By means of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution petitioner has prayed for following reliefs: "i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No. 4 to release the rest amount of the contractual dues of the petitioner's firm amount of Rs. 5,05,240/- alongwith interest 9% per annum from 18.03.2023 till the actual date of payment due in respect of work order No. 52/EE/2022-23 dated 19.12.2022 within stipulated period of time as may be determined by this Hon'ble Court. ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent No. 4 to decide the application of the petitioner dated 19.03.2025." 1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Standing Counsel. 3. Learned Standing Counsel has no objection in case if petitioner's application dated 19.03.2025 is directed to be decided by the concerned competent respondent in a time bound period and in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4 to look into and consider the grievance raised by the petitioner in his application dated 19.03.2025 and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months of production of certified copy of this order.
