Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Jamtara Cyber Crime P.S. Case No. 11 of 2026 for the offence registered under Sections 111(1)(iii), 318(4), 319(2), 3(5) of BNS and Sections 66(B), (C) and (D) of IT Act and Section 42(3)(e) Telecommunication Act, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Special Judge Cyber Crime, Jamtara. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that two mobile phonea and two SIM cards are alleged to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. He submits that the petitioner is in custody since 20.02.2026 having no criminal antecedent. 3. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer and has submitted that so far no criminal antecedent in the concerned P.S. has been recorded. However, the investigation is still going on and charge- sheet has not been submitted. 4. Considering the aforesaid submissions and the fact that the investigation is still going on, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, this bail application is rejected. 2026:JHHC:14959 5. However, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge. 6.
