BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER 18.08.2026 Heard Ms. K. Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 2. The petitioner, namely, Nabojit Ray @ Rahul Ray, has filed this application under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, with prayer for pre-arrest bail, in connection with Golakanj P.S Case No. 12/2026 u/s 87/3(5) BNS added Section 8/18 POCSO Act corresponding to GR Case No. 41/2026. 3. By the order dated 08.04.2026, the petitioner had been granted an interim protection subject to the conditions laid out therein. 4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the charge sheet has been submitted vide Charge-sheet No. 48/2026, dated 06/03/2026. Page No.# 4/4
5. In the aforesaid circumstances, there does not appear to be any further apprehension of the petitioner being taken into custody for purposes of investigation. 6.
Accordingly, this anticipatory bail petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to avail of appropriate remedies in the event of receipt of summons from the learned trial court. JUDGE
