Devi, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sharma, learned CGC for the respondent nos.1 and 2. 2. Mr. D. Nath, learned Senior Govt. Advocate appearing for the respondent nos.3 to 13 has submitted that he has received written instruction dated 17.03.2026 to the effect that vide its report dated 02.03.2026, the Advisory Board constituted under the PITNDPS Act, 1988 has found no sufficient cause for the continued detention of the detenue, namely, Lukeshor Singha Page No.# 4/4 pursuant to detention order dated 19.09.2025. He has further submitted that as per the copy of WT Message provided to him, the said detenue was released in connection with the detention order dated 19.09.2025. However, he is still under judicial custody in the Central Jail, Nagaon, in connection with Hojai P.S. Case No. 358/2025 under section 21(b)/27(a) of the NDPS Act. 3. Accordingly, having heard the both sides, the Court is of the considered opinion that the challenge to the impugned detention order dated 19.09.2025 has become infructuous upon release of the petitioner from such detention. 4.
