The instant application has been filed praying for extension of the time period granted vide order dated 09.06.2026 for appearance before the Page No.# 3/3 jurisdictional Trial Court in connection with Biswanath Chariali P.S. Case No. 1190/2026. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that due to heavy flooding in the locality where the applicant resides, he could not appear before the jurisdictional Trial Court, i.e., the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Biswanath, within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of passing of the order dated 09.06.2026. Therefore, he submits that some further time may be granted to the applicant to appear before the jurisdictional Trial Court. Taking into account the submissions made by the learned counsel for the applicant and the explanation furnished by the applicant, this Court directs that the applicant shall appear before the jurisdictional Trial Court within 7 (seven) days from today.
