In this Writ Petition, petitioner has challenged the Calendar of Events at Annexure-E, by which election has been conducted for a period of five years on 15.07.2020 and thereafter, results have been announced on 09.07.2020, as per Annexure-G to the Writ Petition. 2. Perusal of the Writ Petition would indicate that the electioneering process has been challenged before the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:16130 WP No. 6800 of 2026 respondent - authorities and thereafter the same has reached the finality as per the Judgment dated 14.01.2026 in Cop.Appeal No.103/2025, as per Annexure-M to the Writ Petition. 3. Taking into consideration the reasons assigned by the Karnataka Appellate Tribunal at para Nos.18 to 21 in its aforesaid Judgment dated 14.01.2026 and also the fact that the prayer made by the petitioner is with regard to electioneering process, and the period of five years has already been completed by efflux of time and also the fact that new body has been constituted presently and in that view of the matter, the prayer made in the Writ Petition cannot be considered at this juncture on account of factual aspects on record. 4.
