THIS APPEAL COMING ON FOR CONCILIATION BEFORE NATIONAL LOK ADALAT, THE FOLLOWING CONCILIATION ORDER IS PASSED: 3 CONCILIATION ORDER Learned counsel for the appellants and the representative of the respondent – Insurance Company are present. 2. A joint memo is submitted today which reflects that the parties have settled on an amount of Rs.3,25,000/- (Rupees Three Lakh Twenty Five Thousand Only), in addition to what has awarded by the Tribunal in full and final settlement of the claim. The respondent – Royal Sundaram General Insurance Company Limited has agreed to deposit the said amount before the Tribunal within six weeks from the date of preparation of the award, failing which, the said amount shall carry interest @ 9% per annum from the date of default, till the date of deposit. 3. The memo is accepted and in view of the settlement, this appeal is disposed of. It is directed that the award be prepared no later than two months from today. The amount awarded by the Tribunal is permitted to be withdrawn by the claimants forthwith as per law.
