HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT ALLAHABAD WRIT - C No. - 24031 of 2026 Court No. - 29 HON'BLE SIDDHARTHA VARMA, J. HON'BLE KUNAL RAVI SINGH, J. 1. From a perusal of the representation filed by the petitioners, we find that the petitioners apprehend that a canal may be carved out through their agricultural land. In this regard, they have submitted a representation before the District Magistrate, Chandauli. However, as of now, no acquisition proceedings have been initiated. 2. In the present case, we find that a writ petition cannot be maintained merely on the basis of an apprehension. In case the petitioners have a definite cause of action in future, they may approach this Court. 3. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is dismissed as this stage.
