WPSS No.519 of 2026 Vinod Pathak
…………Petitioner Vs. State of Uttarakhand and others ………….Respondents
Hon’ble Pankaj Purohit, J.
Mr. Deep Prakash Bhatt, Advocate for the petitioner.
2. Mr. S.S. Chaudhary, S.C. for the State.
3. Mr. Shobhit Joshi, Advocate holding brief of Mr. Ashish Joshi, Advocate for respondent nos.2, 3 and 4.
4. This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, whereby the petitioner has put to challenge the suspension order dated 04.02.2026, annexure no.1 to the writ petition, whereby the petitioner was placed under suspension in contemplation of the enquiry against him ostensibly for the reason that the petitioner instead of making complaint against the responsible Officers to the U.K.R.T.C. Authorities, posted the complaint on social media.
5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has been issued a charge sheet and he has also replied to the same vide his reply dated 10.02.2026.
6. Since the charge sheet has been supplied to the petitioner, therefore, there is no reason to interfere in the present suspension order which has been passed by the Authorities concerned in contemplation of the enquiry.
7. This Court finds no fault with the suspension order keeping in mind that the charges of insubordination and indiscipline are very serious against the petitioner.
8. Accordingly writ petition stands disposed off. However respondent no.3-Regional Manager, Uttarakhand Transport
2 Corporation, is directed to complete the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
