JUSTICE R DEVDAS *Retyped & replaced vide Court Order Dated 05.03.2026 - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9553 WP No. 34755 of 2025 ORAL ORDER It is the contention of the petitioners that the late Smt.Deviramma, the mother-in-law of petitioner No.1 and grandmother of petitioners Nos.2 and 3 was granted 4 acres of land in Survey No.45 of Nayakanahalli Village, Santhebachalli Hobli, K.R.Pete Taluk, Mandya District in the year 1962 and Saguvalichit was also issued in her name on 07.04.1962, as found at Annexure-A. However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the land records. 2. 2. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, *K.R.Pete Taluk, to verify the records and find out if grant was made in favour of Smt.Deviramma, if kimath was paid and whether saguvali chit was issued in favour of the 1st petitioner's mother-in-law. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the 1st petitioner's mother- in-law in the revenue records. Subsequent to that the *Corrected vide Court order dated 05.03.2026 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:9553 WP No. 34755 of 2025 Tahsildar shall look into the aspect of the legal heirs of Smt.Deviramma and after verifying the same he shall proceed to enter the names of the petitioner and any other legal heir as may be required in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
