ORAL ORDER
1. The writ petition is filed by the petitioners alleging that respondent nos.5 and 6 have put up illegal construction on the property which is the subject matter of the writ petition. They have sought for demolition of illegal structure put up by respondent nos.5 and 6.

Learned counsel for Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) upon instructions, submits that, respondent nos.5 and 6 have put up illegal construction as alleged in the writ petition and steps have been initiated to have the same removed.
3. It is further observed by this Court that inspite of several interim directions granted earlier to verify and state as to the illegal constructions that have been put up, the same were not complied.

Learned counsel for respondent nos.1 to 4-GBA, candidly admits that there appears to be slackness on the part of some of the officers of the then Bruhat Bengauru Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) in following the orders of this Court and doing their duty promptly.

5. Based on the submissions made by the learned counsel for BBMP/GBA, I proceed to pass the following:
ORDER (i) Respondent nos.1 to 4 are directed to initiate appropriate action against the illegal construction said to have been put up by respondent nos.5 and 6 in accordance with law and take it to its logical end within a period of four months from today; (ii) BBMP/GBA is also
directed to conduct departmental enquiry against the erring officials who have disobeyed the orders of this Court and also have allowed an illegal construction to come up and take appropriate action against them; (iii) The writ petition stands
disposed of accordingly.
