JUSTICE ANJAN MONI KALITA ORDER Date : 19.08.2026 Heard Ms. J. Das, the learned counsel appearing for the accused- applicants. Also heard Mr. K.K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent State. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, praying for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicants in connection with Silchar Police Station Case No. 333/2026 under Sections 296/117(2)/76/3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. 3. Mr. K.K. Baishya, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that charge sheet in the instant case has been filed vide CS No. 350/2026 dated 22.05.2026. 4. In view of the aforesaid, the learned counsel for the accused-applicants submits that liberty should be granted to the accused-applicants to approach the Jurisdictional Court. 5. It is seen that vide the order dated 07.07.2026, a Coordinate Bench of this Court has granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused-applicants. 6. Taking into account the aforesaid, the instant Anticipatory Bail application is disposed of with a liberty to the accused-applicants to approach the Page No.# 3/3 Jurisdictional Court within 15 (fifteen) days from today, if so advised. Until their appearance before the Jurisdictional Court within 15 (fifteen) days, the interim pre-arrest bail order dated 07.07.2026 shall stand extended. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
