Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2026 in connection with Nagar Untari P.S. No.202/2025, under Section 126 (2), 115 (2), 117 (2), 118 (1), 109, 352, 351 (3), 85 of BNS and under Section ¾ Dowry Prohibition Act, now pending in the court of learned ACJM, Nagar Untari, Garhwa. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner being the husband is in custody since 22.01.2026 and charge sheet has already been submitted. 4. The learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that there is direct allegation against the petitioner and the alleged offence has taken place in the year 2025 and the petitioner was married in the year 2022. He submits that grievous injury has been found in the body of the victim. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the direct allegation made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, this bail application is rejected. 2026:JHHC:14669 2 6. The State is directed to ensure that the witnesses are promptly produced as and when the evidence commences. 7. The learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district and also to Director, Prosecution to ensure compliance. 8.
