P.P. --- 02/14.05.2026 Heard Mr. Aman Kumar Rahul, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. The prayer for bail of the petitioner was earlier rejected in B.A. No. 10964 of 2025. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 22.07.2025. It has further been submitted that the recovered quantity of Poppy Husk is just above the commercial quantity. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears from the allegations that on a search of the vehicle, 50.4kg of Poppy Husk was recovered. The petitioner was apprehended from inside the vehicle along with a co- accused. However, considering the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and the fact that the recovered quantity of Poppy Husk is marginally above the commercial quantity, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Spl Judge, NDPS, Khunti in connection with Saiko P.S.
