Mr. Pushpinder Jaswal, Additional Advocate General, for the non-applicants/respondents. Today learned Additional Advocate General has handed over instructions received from Executive Engineer, Paonta B&R Division, HPWD Paonta Sahib, which reads as under:- “In this regard, it is intimated that after passing of the Judgment and the directions in execution petition, the respondents have processed the pension claim of the petitioners to the O/o Accountant General vide letter dated 18 Feb 2026.The office of Accountant General has sanctioned the pension in favour of petitioner vide P.P.O. No 1126360658 conveyed vide letter dated 18 Feb 2026. Thereafter as the L.P.A. against the Judgment was pending of the D.B. of Hon'ble High Court, Therefore, the pension case was kept on hold till disposal of the L.P.A. Now as the L.P.A. has been decided, therefore this office vide letter dated 18/6/2026 has requested O/o Accountant General to release the pension in favour of the petitioners. Now further action with regard to pension of petitioner is to be taken by the O/o Accountant General and Treasury office.” In light of this development, these proceedings are closed with the direction that needful at the end of the Principal Accountant General be done expeditiously and preferably before 31.07.2026.
