JUSTICE K.MANMADHA RAO - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15700 RPFC No. 145 of 2024 ORAL ORDER Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 04.03.2026 this Court has directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to hand over the D.D. for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- before the trial Court and the trial Court is directed to handover the same to the respondent. Accordingly, the petitioner approached the respondent - wife and handed over D.D. for a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- through his father and the respondent has also filed acknowledgment for having received the same and also produced a photograph of handing over said DD from the petitioner's father to the respondent-wife. 2. On perusal of the memo along with the photograph, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on 05.09.2024 this Court has granted stay of all further proceedings pursuant to the order dated 20.03.2024 passed in Crl.Misc.No.967/2022 before the I Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Mysuru till the next date of hearing. Further it is observed that the Family Court has directed to pay Rs.10,000/- per month to the wife till the date of annulment of the marriage and the same was annulled in MC No.369/2022 under Section 12(1)(a) of the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:15700 RPFC No. 145 of 2024 Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 on 20.01.2024 itself. The husband is directed to pay maintenance till 20.01.2024 when the marriage was declared as null by the Family Court on 20.01.2024. Thereafter he has moved an application for vacating stay.
