Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2026 in connection with Barwadda P.S. Case No. 24 of 2026, registered under Sections 80(2) & 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, now pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the marriage was solemnized in the year 2018 and therefore, the death of the victim did not occur within 7 years of marriage. He submits that he is not aware as to whether the charge-sheet has been submitted or not. The learned counsel submits that the charge-sheet must have been submitted as the petitioner is in custody since 25.01.2026. 4. After hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court finds that there is direct allegation against the petitioner with regard to demand of dowry and the informant also had conversation with the accused just prior to the death of victim and charge-sheet has been submitted under section 80(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and hence, this bail application is rejected. 5.
