The petitioners have preferred this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking following relief(s):- 10.1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/order/directions of appropriate nature and set aside the impugned notice dated 28.03.2025 passed by Respondent No.03 (Annexure A-4). 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue writ/order/directions of appropriate nature and direct the respondent authorities to disburse the sanctioned amount in the separate accounts of the petitioners. 10.3 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioners and to decide the representation dated 24.03.2025 rationally. 10.4 That the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, including the cost of litigation, as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and appropriate, be provided to the petitioners. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners and respondent No.4 are siblings. Their mother Smt. Agravat Bai, W/o. of Late Premlal, died on 14.8.2024 due to drowning in a pond. Therefore, Rs.4 lakh ex gratia has been sanctioned by the Collector, Distt. Sarangarh Bilaigarh vide order dated 18.02.2025 (Annexure-A/1) in favour of the petitioners and respondent No.4. Learned counsel further submits that vide Notice dated 28.3.2025 (Annexure-A/4), the Tahsildar Bilaigarh Distt. Sarangarh-Bilaigarh has directed the petitioners and respondent No.4 to open a joint bank account for disbursement of the aforesaid amount to them in equal share. However, respondent No.4 is not ready to open a joint bank account, therefore, the petitioners filed application dated 24.3.2025 (Annexure A/3- receipt) before the Collector, District Sarangarh-Bilaigarh to disburse the 3 amount in their separate bank account. But the same has not been decided yet. Hence, it is prayed that this petition may be disposed of at this stage directing the Collector, Distt. Sarangarh-Bilaigarh to decide the application filed by the petitioners. 3. Learned counsel for the State has no objection if the limited prayer of the petitioner is allowed. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Having considered the limited prayer of the petitioner, this petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondent No.2/Collector, Distt. Sarangarh-Bilaigarh to decide the application dated 24.3.2025 filed by the petitioners expeditiously, preferably within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order along with copy of application dated 24.3.2025. 6.
