Choudhury learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam appearing for the State respondent. 2. This petition under Section 482 BNSS is filed for granting the privilege of pre-arrest bail to the petitioner, namely, Bidyut Tanti, apprehending arrest in connection with Mariani P.S. Case No. Page No.# 2/2 152/2025 registered u/s 329(4)/74/351(3) of BNS. 4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that as per information, the case has been charge-sheeted and presently at the stage of appearance vide PRC No. 7/2026 and the petitioner has also received summons from the court for appearance on 12.02.2026. A copy of the said summons has been produced before the court and perused the same. It is submitted that pursuant to grant of interim, the petitioner also appeared before the IO during investigation. 5. In view of the definite information regarding the completion of investigation and the case reaching the stage of appearance, perhaps it is not necessary to cancel the interim bail. Accordingly, the interim pre- arrest bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24.11.2025 is hereby made absolute, subject to the conditions that the petitioner: (a) Shall be available for trial; (b) Shall not cause any harm or intimation to the witnesses of the informant. (c) Shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence of the case. 6. Accordingly, this anticipatory bail application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
