After some arguments, Shri Anand Prakash Dubey, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner does not wish to press the relief for quashing of the FIR in the writ petition. The relief for quashing of the FIR is accordingly declined. Learned counsel for the petitioner recasts his relief and prays that the petitioner may be granted leave to approach the competent court for anticipatory bail and for seeking appropriate remedies available with him under law. Learned AGA does not have any objection to the aforesaid prayer. The writ petition is disposed of with the observation that it is always open to the petitioner to avail other legal remedies as may be advised.
