Admittedly, the order rejecting the arms licence application of the petitioner is appealable. 3. Since, there is an Appellate Provision, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. The petitioner is directed to file an appeal which will be decided on merits as per law after hearing the parties preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. If a petition for condonation of the delay is filed, the same will be considered sympathetically by the Appellate Authority considering the fact that petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court. 5. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands disposed of. (ANANDA SEN, J.) 12th May, 2026 R.S./S.K.C. Uploaded on 13/05/2026
