(ORAL) During pendency of Civil Suit bearing CS-198/2017 !tled ‘Suraj Bhan vs. Mahesh Kumar and others’, the plain!ff through his LRs moved an applica!on for summoning an official from UIDAI to provide the details of Aadhar Card of defendant No.3 – Lekhu. An official from Regional Office of UIDAI appeared before the trial Court through VC and expressed his inability to produce the record by ci!ng Sec!on 33(1) of the Aadhaar (Targeted Delivery of Financial and other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016, as desired informa!on could be supplied only as per the order of the High Court. The aforesaid order has been assailed before this Court. ADer arguing for some !me, statement is made by learned counsel for the pe!!oner so as to withdraw this pe!!on with liberty to file an appropriate writ or any other proceedings before this Court for seeking the desired relief.
