No one appears on behalf of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the Vidhan Sabha is present. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for quashing the result dated 16.09.2025, published under the Signature of Deputy Secretary, Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination 2025 for appointment to the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant. 4. Further prayer has been made by the petitioner to direct the respondents to conduct re-exam of the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination which was held for appointment of Junior Secretariat Assistant, as according to the petitioner, the examination process which was conducted, was not fair and proper. 5. As no one appears for the petitioner, I have gone through the writ petition. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha appears and argues the case. 6. The petitioner is an employee of Jharkhand Vidhan 2026:JHHC:2119 2 Sabha. To fill-up the post of Junior Secretariat Assistant, the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha conducted an internal departmental examination. The petitioner appeared in the said examination but was shown disqualified in Hindi and English typing. Thus, the petitioner has grievance against the examination process of Vidhan Sabha. 7. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is much meritorious and has knowledge in computer typing and also in Hindi and English typing but he has been wrongly disqualified. 8. Paragraph Nos.9 and 13 of the writ petition deals with the grounds for challenging the results, which are as follows:- “9. That it is humbly submitted that the Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha, Secretariat Ranchi, published the result of the above examination on 16.09.2025, and in the column of the roll number bearing LDC 112 of the petitioner, the result of Hindi and English language typing has been mentioned as not qualified when in the written examination he obtained the qualifying marks of 47 and he is well qualified in the typing of the Hindi and English language but he has been declared as not qualified. The said result is totally bogus because several ineligible candidates were appointed ignoring the candidature of the petitioner. 13. That it is humbly submitted that the petitioner is a well qualified employee and he has passed graduation examination and he has also obtained the knowledge of the computer from the Digital-IT, Kishoreganj Ranchi and he has been given Grade-A in the said examination organized by the aforesaid institution. Since the certificate of the Computer training is available with the petitioner and he has been advised to annex the same.” 9. From the aforesaid paragraph quoted above, it is clear that it is the self-assessment of the petitioner that he is better than the other selected candidate, though in the examination he was shown to be disqualified. This cannot be a ground to interfere in the selection process. Normally every unsuccessful candidate thinks that he is the best and he should have been selected. This is one of such case. Further, there is no other convincing material to interfere with the examination process. 10. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed.
