Purkayastha, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and Ms. G. Hazarika, the learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the Revenue Department. I have also heard Mr. S. S. Roy, the learned Junior Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the District Administration. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the Respondent No.4 in refusing to make necessary correction of the revenue records and restore the name of the Petitioner in the record of rights in respect to the land measuring 1 Katha 10 Lechas covered by Dag No.417(old)/735(new) of K.P. Patta No.1110 situated at Revenue Village Sawkuchi under Mouza Beltola in the District of Kamrup (M), Assam. It is also the case of the Page No.# 3/3 Petitioner that the name of the Private Respondent No.5 should be removed in view of the order dated 17.12.2024 passed by the Respondent No.2 in Misc. Case No.300/2023. 3. Pursuant to the filing of the instant writ petition, this Court had issued notice on 24.06.2026. 4. Mr. S. S. Roy, the learned Junior Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the District Administration submitted that necessary correction of records have been carried out as per the prayer made in the writ petition. In that regard, he has placed before this Court an instruction dated 06.08.2026 issued by the Circle Officer, Dispur Revenue Circle as well as an updated record of rights which is kept on record and marked with the letter “X”. 5. Taking into account the above, nothing further remains in the instant proceedings for which the instant writ petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
