Ahmed, learned counsel appearing for the accused applicant and Mr. B. Sarma, learned Addl. PP appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying Page No.# 2/3 for granting pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant in connection with Bhangagarh P.S. Case No. 17/2026 corresponding to G. R. No. 694/2026 registered under Section 3 (5)/329/(3)/336(3)/351(3) of the BNS, 2023. 3. The allegation against the accused applicant is that he along with his wife procured the illegal electric connection by occupying the premises of the informant. It is also alleged that when the informant went to give her premises for a rent to another person, the accused applicant threatened the aforesaid person for not taking the aforesaid premises on rent. 4. A coordinate bench of this Court vide its order dated 22.06.2026 granted interim pre-arrest bail to the accused applicant with a direction to appear before the Investigating Officer within 1 (one) week. 5. Mr. B. Sarma, the learned Addl. PP has produced the Case Diary and the same has been perused. 6. It is seen that there are several cases pending against the accused applicant in various places and also seen that the accused applicant after obtaining the interim pre-arrest bail did not appear before the Investigating Officer nor recorded his statement. The learned Addl. PP Mr. Sarma has produced a document which contained the details of criminal antecedents of the accused applicant. 7. Taking into account the entire facts of the case and the prima facie incriminating materials available in the Case Diary, this Court is not inclined to grant any relief to the accused applicant and accordingly, the interim pre-arrest bail granted by a coordinate bench Page No.# 3/3 of this Court, vide its order dated 22.06.2026 is hereby cancelled. In view of the above, the instant anticipatory bail application stands rejected. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
