The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: 1) “To issue writ of mandamus mandating the Respondent to consider the Appeal filed by the Petitioner dated 10.08.2022, ANNEXURE-D., and direct the Respondent to dispose the said Appeal within a period of two weeks and pass such orders accordingly; 2) Pass such other orders that this Hon’ble Court deem fit in the interest of justice and equity.” 2. Submission of counsel for the petitioner is that the appeal filed by the petitioner on 10.08.2025 at Annexure-D has neither been registered nor processed by the respondent. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent called upon to make enquiry and make her submission. On instructions, she submits that since the appeal was not in the proper format it was not registered and processed. 4. A perusal of Annexure-D indicates that it is filed as an appeal and in those circumstances, I am of the considered opinion that though the format was not satisfactory, it ought to have been registered and - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:11577 WP No. 33558 of 2024 objections raised as regards the format instead of not registering the appeal when filed.
